May 27: Ogwuche felicitates with Benue, Nigeria Children.

Benue State  Commissioner for Health and Human Services, Dr. Paul Ejeh-Ogwuche, has felicitated with all children across Benue State and Nigeria on the joyous occasion of the 2026 Children’s Day celebration.

Dr. Ogwuche in a message  of felicitation to commemorate the day, noted that Children are the pride of every nation, the hope of every family, and the foundation upon which a brighter future is built.

He added that the  Children's day equally reminds everyone of  collective responsibility to nurture, protect, educate, and empower every child to achieve their full potential.

"On behalf of the management and entire staff of the Benue State Ministry of Health and Human Services, I warmly celebrate all children across Benue State and Nigeria on the joyous occasion of the 2026 Children’s Day celebration.

"As a Ministry, we remain committed to supporting policies and programs that promote the health, wellbeing, safety, and development of children across our dear State. We believe that every child deserves access to quality healthcare, proper nutrition, education, protection, and an environment that encourages growth and excellence.

"In line with the vision of His Excellency, Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, Executive Governor of Benue State, we will continue to strengthen healthcare services and child-focused interventions aimed at reducing preventable illnesses and improving the quality of life for our children.

"To our dear children, I encourage you to remain disciplined, focused, respectful, and committed to your dreams", the commissioner maintained.

According to him, the future belongs to the children, and with hard work, determination, and the right guidance, they can become great leaders who will make Benue State and Nigeria proud.

He therefore extend appreciation to parents, guardians, teachers, and caregivers for their sacrifices and dedication toward raising responsible and healthy children.

"Let us continue to work together to build a safer, healthier, and more prosperous future for every child.Happy Children’s Day", Ogwuche said.
