Fed commissioner, Oche, Siblings Invests as Knights of St. Christopher in Benue

The federal commissioner public complaints commission (PCC), chief James Oche, was on Sunday officially inducted into the knights of St. Christopher in the St. John Anglican Communion, Diocese of Otukpo, Benue State.

Chief Oche was inducted along side with his siblings.

The solemn and historic ceremony was officiated by  Rt. Revd Benjamin Amen Enwuchola, Lord Bishop of Otukpo Diocese. 

Bishop Enwuchola, while performing the investiture, said it was in recognition of the honourees’ unwavering faith, dedicated service, and outstanding contributions to the growth and development of the church and the wider society.

The event was marked by prayers, thanksgiving, hymns of praise, and a spirit of celebration.

 The Investiture was also graced by management and staff of the Public Complaints Commission led by the Ag. Director of investigation, Kpaakpa Terkura, family members, friends, church leaders, and other distinguished guests who came to share in the joyous occasion.

Speaking shortly after the investiture, the federal commissioner, chief James Oche stated that the event not only underscored the church’s commitment to honouring faithful members but also highlighted the exemplary role of individuals include himself Rt. Hon. James Oche in public service and community development.

The two times former chairman of Ado local government area, had earlier on Saturday, attended the burial of the late David Oche at Apa-Agila, of Ado LGA, where he sympathised  with the family.

The solemn occasion  brought together family and friends to honour his memory of late deceased .

Chief Oche however, extended his  deepest sympathies to the son of the late community leader, Godwin Oche CEO/MD BOGGOS Beverages, and the entire family during this difficult time.

He noted that the love and support surrounding the  immediate family were palpable, reminding everyone all of the importance of humanity in times of loss.

Chief  Oche said David's legacy will continue live on in the hearts of those who knew him, adding that the deceased will be dearly missed.
