Yuletide: Lami greets constituents, calls for love, kindness, humility, tolerance and peaceful coexistence

The Deputy Speaker of the 10th Benue State House of Assembly and Vice Chairman, Forum of Deputy Speakers of Nigeria, Chief (Hon.) Mrs. Lami Danladi Ogenyi, joined the people of her constituency and the entire Christian community in celebrating the 2025 Christmas season, which mark the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ.
In a goodwill message to her constituents, Chief Lami described Christmas as a season of love, peace and tranquility. She emphasizes that the teachings and life of Jesus Christ—rooted in love for humanity, sacrifice and compassion—should continually guide human relationships and interactions in society.
The Deputy Speaker urged the people to imbibe and uphold the virtues of love, kindness, humility, tolerance and peaceful coexistence, noting that these values remain essential for unity, progress and sustainable development within communities.
Chief Lami, who is fondly known as the Onyawole K’Idoma and the Gimbiyan of Tawari Kingdom, demonstrates her commitment to the welfare of her people through her Christmas outreach to constituents, valued at millions of naira. The outreach reflects her belief in service, charity and practical leadership, especially during the season of Christ’s nativity.
The Deputy Speaker in a statement by her chief press secretary, Agbaji Samuel Atsonwu, pray that the peace, joy and love that accompany the birth of Jesus Christ continue to abound in Ado Local Government Area in particular and Benue State as whole, fostering harmony and shared prosperity among the people.
