2027: We will deliver Tinubu, Alia in Benue comes 2027- Commissioner Ogwuche

Benue State Commissioner for Health and Human services, Dr. Paul Ejeh Ogwuche, has expressed his readiness to join the Prince Moses Ternenge (PMT) Support Group for Tinubu/Alia 2027, with a view to galvanize and mobilize support for the reelection of President Ahmed Bola Tinubu and Governor Hyacinth Alia comes 2027

Dr. Ogwuche made his intention know when senior coordinators, ward mobilizers, and key stakeholders of the support group, paid him a solidarity visit at his office  in Makurdi, Thursday.

The  commissioner who was presented with the group’s strategic vision, said he is willing to promote and deepen collaboration, and reinforce grassroots mobilization efforts ahead of the 2027 general elections. 

He welcomed the initiative describing as a structured and forward-looking platform capable of driving meaningful political engagement and effective grassroots mobilization.

Dr. Ogwuche further underscored the importance of disciplined and sustained grassroots efforts in achieving electoral success, noting that political victories are built on consistency, organization, and credible leadership and extolled the visionary leadership of  Governor Hyacinth Alia. 

The commissioner further acknowledged the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, noting that ongoing national reform initiatives are progressively repositioning Nigeria towards sustainable economic growth, institutional stability, and national development.

He  emphasized the need for unwavering commitment, strategic coordination, and resilience in the pursuit of electoral success.

In his presentation, the team leader of the PMT Support Group Hon. Alex Ineke gave comprehensive overview of the group’s mandate, stressing that its core focus  is on structured grassroots mobilization, political sensitization, and sustained advocacy for the re-election of Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Hyacinth  Alia.

Ineke also outlined key operational priorities including; Systematic mobilization of support across wards and local government areas, strengthening and consolidation of party structures at the grassroots level, promotion of leadership continuity anchored on verifiable developmental achievements, coordination of volunteer networks and campaign architecture in preparation for 2027.

"Our strategy is designed to ensure inclusiveness, sustainability, and effectiveness in political engagement across all levels.

"Therefore, we come to formally convey our decision to register you as a member and strategic stakeholder of the PMT Support Group. Your leadership role, administrative capacity, and contributions to governance is critical to the success of this movement.

In a brief remarks, the Permanent Secretary of the ministry,  Dr. Cephas Hough expressed appreciation to the PMT Support Group for the visit and commended the clarity and coherence of its objectives. 

He noted that such engagements are essential in fostering alignment between governance institutions and political support structures.

The Permanent Secretary reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to effective service delivery and policy implementation, while also encouraging continued engagement with the Health  commissioner  to strengthen collaboration and ensure synergy between administrative processes and political mobilization efforts
